Bria Crouch

Head of People & Culture

Bria joined Playful in 2022 and works across all productions. Bria leads on building inclusive creative spaces and a positive culture across the shows we produce and manage at Playful. Bria oversees training and development opportunities, driving equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives and advises on cultural strategy.

Prior to Playful, Bria delivered training sessions and workshops as a freelance facilitator and engagement officer before building and managing teams at King’s Cross Theatre for The Railway ChildrenIn the HeightsLazarus and the Donmar Shakespeare Triology at Phantom of the Opera (His Majesty’s Theatre.) As Head of Programme and a founding member of The Troubadour Trust, Bria devised engagement and employee initiatives for productions such as War HorseFame and The Wedding Singer at Wembley Park TheatreAs Head of Culture for Targeted Provision Bria developed her expertise in employee engagement, strategy and planning and legal compliance.

Bria has taught music and drama, specialising in working with children with special educational needs and disabilities. She is passionate about making theatre accessible for all and consults on Playful’s accessible performances, charity partnerships and outreach and engagement activities
