Akos Koranteng

Akos joined Playful as a Production Accountant in February 2022 and looks after the accounts for several West End shows including Moulin Rouge, A Little Life and MJ the Musical. Akos began her theatre career in 2008 when she was appointed assistant production accountant at the National Theatre, after previously working for a homeless charity and as a metallurgist for a gold mine in Ghana. Her 13 years at the National saw her looking after the accounts for NT Live, the New Work Department, American Associates of the National Theatre and of course National Theatre Productions where she worked on productions such as War Horse, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and The Lehman Trilogy, amongst many others. In her spare time, Akos can usually be found enjoying a good meal with friends or sitting in a dark room watching a film.
